"Perfection in this art does not depend on shape or age, but solely on the understanding of the practitioner. I have been practicing this art for 15 years; nevertheless, I often felt the need to consult a teacher."

In China, it is said that one lifetime is not enough to understand and learn all the secrets of Tai Chi. We can confirm that these words are more than true. There are certainly other very good books. We would like to recommend these because, in our opinion, some of them can teach the basics and individual forms very well for beginners. However, none of these books can replace a very good Taiji teacher (or a master) with all his extensive and detailed knowledge. Books should only be used in addition, whether to build on the learning of courses or to obtain other information about Taiji and its Taiji teachers or masters: Peter Hornfeck/Lin Xue Ping, Tai Ji Quan.
